AMMAN- HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the role of the Hungarian government in providing unique educational opportunities to Jordanian students through a host of scholarship programs.

During his meeting with HE Mr. Csaba Czibere, the Hungarian Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed on the need to develop the educational sector in Jordan through building a knowledge-based generation, pointing out that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) embarked on a mission to form the next leaders through its various educational institutions and programs.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stated that TAG-Org is ready to provide its services to the Hungarian government and the Embassy in Jordan through its 86 offices around the world including TAG-Org's office in Budapest.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador commended the role played by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in various fields especially in education saying: "You have been leading the way of excellence in various fields including education on the national, regional and global levels for decades and today we are here seeking your experience and assistance in promoting the Hungarian government scholarship programs to Jordanian students."

The Hungarian government has allocated 400 scholarships as part of its annual program to Jordanian students that cover Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees. Candidates should be Jordanians, fluent in English and must hold academic certificates that qualify them for the scholarship program.

The educational cooperation with TAG-Org extended to include cultural programs and activities where the Ambassador introduced 14 programs available to musicians of the Jordanian National Orchestra Association (JOrchestra) which is headed by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in which they will be able to join high-level programs in the field of music.

In addition, both parties discussed the idea to organize a joint concert between JOrchestra and the embassy.
