Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International University Hosts Fulbright Program Session

AMMAN- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International University (TAGIUNI) hosted a presentation by the Fulbright Commission for the employees of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org). The event announced the scholarships and fellowships offered by the Fulbright Commission to Jordanian nationals. 

Ms. Rana Al-Anani, Program Officer discussed with HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the Fulbright commission’s role in providing study and research opportunities in the US for qualified Jordanian citizens.

Meanwhile, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh gave his full support and encouraged all qualified Jordanians to apply for this opportunity which will be for the benefit of the applicants and the Kingdom of Jordan; as the only commitment grantees should fulfil in return is to serve Jordan for two years upon completing their programs.

"We are proud that we are given the opportunity to promote for the Fulbright Programs in Jordan and specifically to TAG-Org's employees who have proven to be a force to reckon with in various fields and sectors" Al-Anani said.

“We also appreciate Abu-Ghazaleh’s support for his employees who are continuously given the chance to learn about academic and professional abroad programs” she added.

The Fulbright Commission has allocated several scholarships/fellowships as part of its annual fully funded programs for Jordanian students which include academic degrees; Master's degree Awards. In addition, the commission offers Non-degree programs; Post-Doctoral Awards, Foreign Language Teaching Assistantships (FLTA) for teaching Arabic for non-native speakers in the United States,  and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship for mid-career Professionals. 

Candidates should be Jordanians who are willing to be ambassadors of their country and culture, fluent in English and must hold academic certificates that qualify them for the scholarships which are granted based on merit.
