TAG-Org & M.E. University Sign Cooperation Agreement

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Middle East University (MEU) signed a cooperation agreement covering education, training, and granting certificates in the Information Technology (IT) field. 
The agreement was signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG-Org Chairman,  and Dr. Yacoub Nasir al-Din, the MEU Chairman of the Board of Trustees, in the presence of representatives of both parties at Organization’s headquarters. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highly underlined cooperation with the MEU which is considered a pioneer in digital academic media underlining the readiness of the Organization to cooperate with the University in providing academic programs mainly the Smart Tourism and Digital Marketing.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the significance of scientific research, and the necessity to connect with global organizations involved in scientific research referring to the Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) which is chaired by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh as an example.

ASREN is one of the organizations affiliate to the League of Arab States (LAS) that connects the various research and education institutions in the Arab region and facilitates the process of scientific research by providing Internet network and the required infrastructure to be connected to research institutions at a global level. 

For his part, Dr. Nasir al-Din said that the University has been established based on a vision to become an educational institution that is open to globalism in education field by networking with other international academic universities and institutions granting its students the opportunity to know more about other experiences and gain new skills which enable them to compete and enhance their chances in the labor market. 

He also expressed his honor to cooperate with TAG-Org which represents an educational, scientific and training empire housing an elite of Arab youth and aims at developing and building capacities. 

The agreement stipulates on cooperation in education, training and granting certificates through Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Diploma in IT Skills (TAG-DIT) which comprises seven modules with an exam at the end of each module. 

Meanwhile, the TAG-DIT will be accredited by the University as an alternative to Computer Science (1+2) courses issued either  by the University or other accredited centers affiliate to the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy.
