RAS AL KHAIMAH, UAE - The eighth edition of IPSEF Middle East (www.ipsef.net ) will take place in Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, its London based organizers announced. The Annual IPSEF conference looks at the complex issues involved in the development and delivery of a new international or private school.

With speakers from regulatory bodies such as the KHDA, as well as school groups, investors and the supply chain including architects, IT suppliers and staff recruiters IPSEF has become a benchmark event for those involved in the creation of new schools.

“The move to Ras Al Khaimah in October is part of our strategy to take IPSEF to emerging market without removing the regional focus of the event,” said Co-founder Rhona Greenhill. “Existing key partners such as the KHDA are fully supportive of the move, and recently shared a platform with Saudi authorities in London to inform UK educators and suppliers, on the breadth of opportunities across MENA,” she added.

The new location continues the peripatetic pattern of the IPSEF series of events, with its Asian events having taken place in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

IPSEF Middle East has the support of the RAKEZ Academic Zone, who recently spoke at the UK-Middle East Education Summit in London (www.uk-mena.org). Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone will explain at IPSEF its educational strategy which includes the attraction of new international schools to support the growing international population of the Emirate.

Taner Topcu, Director of RAKEZ Academic Zone said “We are delighted that Ras Al Khaimah has been chosen as the destination for the next edition of IPSEF, an event we have attended many times over the years. RAKEZ is home to over 14,500 companies with most of them having a large and growing international workforce – all of which could benefit to having a wider range of schools and training institutes.”

Topcu added, “We believe Ras Al Khaimah offers a unique location and environment that will appeal to a wide range of school models. We are willing to advise and support any investors and schools interested in operating a new school in the region. We look forward to participating in IPSEF Middle East in October.”
