‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’, the Success Partner in the 2020 National Forum for Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators

AMAMN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) participated in organizing the 2020 National Forum for Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators by awarding TAGITOP devices to the 44 winning teams in the Entrepreneurial Projects Contest that reached its final phase at Al Hussein Youth City.  

TAG.Global’s participation comes within the framework of supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Youth in fighting unemployment in collaboration with a number of ministries and national institutions by economically empowering the youth and establishing national partnerships for training and empowerment, to come up with successful productive projects for them.  

During the Forum, TAG.Global offered a special discount for the young participants on training courses and programs provided by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global’s member companies in line with its commitment to support the youth and qualify them to enter the labor market.

The participating members from TAG.Global included Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy (TAG-Academy), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), and the International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA). Additionally, Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technologies (TAGTech) electronic devices were displayed to participants. 

Meanwhile, a host of entrepreneurs took part in a panel session and shared with the attendees their success stories in the field of entrepreneurship and the proposed mechanisms that might help them achieve their goals.
On the occasion, an exhibition that highlighted the works of the Forum’s supporting entities, investors and business incubators was inaugurated in addition to holding specialized training workshops. 

The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy And Entrepreneurship under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II. His Royal Highness was represented by the Minister of Youth Dr. Fares Braizat.  

Some of the winning projects in the Contestwere ranked as follows, in the first place: ‘Kinda’ for teaching Arabic calligraphy, in the second place ‘The Code Sox’ for making socks for charity, in the third place ‘Loqta’ Platform for purchasing second hand clothes, in the fourth place ‘Ferata’ an electronic financial service, in the fifth place ‘Luggage’, in the sixth place ‘A Drop of Hope’ for anemia diagnosis, in the seventh place the social interactive platform to cut costs to travelers ‘LESS GO’, in the eighth place ‘Roots’, and finally in the ninth place ‘Doctor X’ which focuses on the language barrier between the doctor and patient.
