"E- Content Development" Training Course at UJ

AMMAN - The Center for Educational Development at the University of Jordan (UJ) commenced the first training session of the "E- Content Development" course for faculty members of the University, according to a press release by the UJ.

The course, which involves the participation of 27 instructors from various colleges, aims to develop educational content electronically through utilizing some special software in addition to displaying the latest methods and means of e-learning. During the five - day course, the participant will conduct (15) hours of training. 

The Training is conveyed by Dr. Osama Al Harfoshi, assistant professor at the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology. Dr. Darwish Badran, Director of the Center for Educational Development said course will train participants on the use of special applications, in order to improve their scientific and technological potential. Badran added that this kind of courses will achieve a quantum leap regarding the electronic content of the lectures and facilitate communication with students and enhance their perceptive capacities.

It's Noteworthy that the course includes a series of optional sessions held by the Center for faculty members during the academic year 2012/2013, in order to help raise the level of teaching and research at the university. Furthermore, the center holds other specialized courses in medicine and dentistry.
