TAG-Org and Ministry of Youth Sign an MoU for Youth Capacity Building and Employment Special to TAG Educa News Agency

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), and Minister of Youth HE Mr. Rami Wreikat, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Capacity Building and preparation for youth employment.

The agreement comes in the context of enabling youth and building their capabilities for employment opportunities. The two parties agreed to form joint-working teams to explore cooperative methods in the field of establishing an ‘Umbrella’ that supports and benefits youth-related activities, and in evaluating and developing the existing 183 youth centers across Jordan. 

HE Mr. Wreikat welcomed HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and expressed that he is pleased with this cooperation indicating, “This MoU not only serves in strengthening the cooperation between the private and public sectors based on the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, but also in reflecting the modern image of Jordan in empowering youth as ‘builders of the future’. He added, “This will allow youth to positively contribute to the local community on a political, cultural and economic level – and in turn combating extremism.”

HE Mr. Wreikat said, “We will conduct an evaluation of Youth’s needs in order to develop all youth centers across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and provide better services that benefit the Youth in different aspects of their lives.” 
 
HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh congratulated HE Mr. Rami Wreikat for his excellent work in empowering youth throughout Jordan, indicating that he is pleased with this cooperation and in providing capacity building services for youth in order to have better employment opportunities and compete with labor market needs. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh applauded the quick action taken by the new ministry and the strategies being developed to achieve the objections of the ministry.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed, “Among the effective solutions for solving economic and political challenges in the region today can be derived through Information Technology methods, and TAG-Org will provide a variety of services including training and developing an IT infrastructure for the Ministry to enhance awareness and outreach of its activities and initiatives.” He added, “TAG-Org will also work on enhancing the Ministry of Youth’s website and in providing consultation for their Social Media strategy.” 

Other objectives of the agreement include creating a database for voluntary work to encourage and increase youth’s social responsibility.
