AMSI Schools Impress UAE’s Minister of Happiness with #100DaysOfPositivity Activities

DUBAI - Rising to the call of the ‘100 Days of Positivity’ initiative, students of Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) - a leading academic solutions provider which manages both ISAS and Al Mawakeb Schools – blended numerous engaging activities into their school routine.
The initiative launched by the National Program for Happiness and Positivity and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai, aims of helping schools impart positive education and promote overall wellbeing.
Students of AMSI schools first caught the attention of H.E. Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness, by sharing their positivity-driven activities on social media and joining the online trend of #100DaysOfPositivity.
HE Al Roumi, along with Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director-General of KHDA, visited Al Mawakeb School, Al Garhoud for a firsthand experience of student-led efforts to embed a culture of positivity and happiness.
The distinguished guests joined the activities such as pasting colored imprints of their hands to symbolize unity and peace amidst diversity. The officials also stopped by the specially crafted ‘Wall of Positivity’ – a dedicated space where students share a new story every day. The ‘Tree of Positive Thoughts’ also drove interest, as guests read anonymous messages of kindness and motivation pasted by students of all classes.
The day wound up with the guests signing the ‘book of gratitude’ and penning personalized messages. “No better way to start your day than being surrounded by innocent souls full of happiness & positivity,” wrote H.E. Al Roumi. Dr. Al Karam appreciated the efforts of students and school staff: “A big high-five to the teachers and students at Al Mawakeb School – Al Garhoud for sharing #100DaysOfPositivity with us - thank you!”
Celebrating ‘100 Days of Positivity’ is part of the efforts by AMSI schools to build an environment that facilitates engaged learning and fosters creativity.
