Abu-Ghazaleh Awards Accreditation Certificate to Al Radwan Schools

AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), awarded accreditation certificate Al Radwan schools in recognition of its compliance to quality assurance requirements and commitment to accreditation criteria and standard. The accreditation award has been issued in accordance with the decision of the Academic Accreditation Committee of the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education, chaired by HE Dr. Amin Mahmoud.

The accreditation certificate is a result of Al Radwan School’s dedicated and hard work during the past two years to fulfill quality requirements and apply accreditation standards and performance indicators related to quality and excellence in educational goals, learning outcomes, governance, education, teaching, resources, infrastructure, and continuous quality improvement. A detailed self- evaluation report was submitted practices and was externally assessed by quality experts with site visits according to high-level standards to measure quality perspectives in education, administration, learning environment and resources as well as performance and outcomes.

During the accreditation ceremony held at the schools, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh said that AROQA has always been honorary chaired by the Secretary General of the Arab League since its establishment in Brussels in 2007 as an independent and non-profit organization. AROQA is the only Arab quality and accreditation institution in the Arab region, which grants academic accreditation in the context of our culture and curricula standards. We seek to develop the level and quality of education to achieve the goal of providing quality education for all, not just education, he added.

Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh commented: “Al Radwan schools made a great effort to comply with quality standards of education to support good education to its students. The school came with an effort to improve educational quality and ensure excellence of outcome in all aspects. He added that this is a partnership between AROQA and Al Radwan schools to work together towards excellence in education by applying standards and improvements on a continuous basis. This will reflect positively on the   development of quality for students and their scientific, practical, and innovative achievements. 

HE Dr. Amin Mahmoud said that AROQA quality standards and Accreditation ensure the provision and opportunity for self-learning to improve educational outcomes through active participation, auditing and preparation of self-assessment of quality in accordance with best practices, standards and indicators of quality education. It also ensures distinctive learning environments and high-quality educational experiences to students and staff members as well as improvements of academic and practical competencies in line with international educational requirements.

Dr. Mahdia Zmily – Schools Principal – said: “This is a great achievement for our schools that comes in the time of our 20th anniversary to give a sustained effort to achieve major breakthroughs in education at the local and regional levels, congratulations to all of our affiliates for this achievement”.

Mr. Munther Zmily, member of the schools’ board of directors, commented on the efforts of AROQA and its excellent role in supporting quality education through accreditation and compliance to high level standards. The accreditation process is highly linked to an extensive external evaluation carried out by experts who studies the schools’ self-assessment report. This experience has greatly enriched the educational process at Al Radwan schools. The recommendations made by the committee will be the enriching mechanism towards continuous improvement. We are proud of this partnership. 

It is noteworthy that the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education is an independent international non-profit association founded in Belgium in July 2007. Its main objective is to raise the level of quality of education, with a focus on the Arab world in particular.
