“Children Programs Committee” of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum Discusses Future Leaders' Building Capacities

AMMAN – The Children Programs Committee, held its first meeting at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF). 

The meeting which was chaired by Dr. Randa Amayreh, Consultant at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the presence of members of the Committee, had stressed the significance of promoting child-directed programs affirming the important role the Committee plays in building capacities and qualifying future leaders.

The participants discussed and agreed on the general objectives of the Committee, which include:

1. To establish a club for the  “Future Knights" to motivate the Forum’s other committees to meet and exchange creative ideas on developing and supporting early childhood factors that  impact  future generations development through use of information technology towards  a knowledge-based community.
2. To organize a workshop on early childhood care and programs that addresses child rights and developmental psychology.
3. To incorporate early childhood in all national policies and plans including the Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSPs), Community Counseling and Assessment Services (CCAS), and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF).
4. To organize a comprehensive conference at TAG-KF that strives to approve recommendations on early childhood to be submitted to decision-makers.

The Committee aims at presenting children programs that introduce creative content while incorporating advanced technology to meet the requirements of this knowledge-based era through various activities, conferences and events.
