Abu-Ghazaleh meets Students of the Australian College of Kuwait, talks about the Most Prominent Challenges of his Life

KUWAIT - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh met with the students of the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) in a gathering organized by the College to talk about the most prominent challenges and sufferings of his life which made him a first class businessman. 

In his welcoming address, College President HE Dr. Essam Zaabalawi stated that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life must be taught in schools and universities, indicating that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life shows that nothing is impossible and the obstacles which some students use as an excuse shouldn’t prevent them from making achievements. 
On his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh thanked the College administration for inviting him; stressing that his meeting with the students always makes him happy, to reiterate that man cannot succeed but by giving and by continuous learning.  

He summarized his life since he was a child displaced from his country up to the moment he became the person he is now, saying that suffering must be considered as a blessing that provokes determination, excellence and success for us.   

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh underlined the significance of respecting laws and regulations, honesty and integrity to avoid a lot of problems and challenges. “Love, on the other hand, is the most powerful weapon that should be always used,” he said.

He also stressed that it is important for any person to set a goal and mission to achieve in order to develop our communities, pointing out that knowledge is the basis of wealth and that the whole world is moving toward investing in IT and intellectual property. He also referred to the Finnish experience that leads the knowledge revolution in the world calling that one should benefit from it through investing in human resources and encouraging cognitive technologies.   

He also affirmed that it is important for all institutions to realize the importance of carrying out their corporate social responsibility towards the community and implementing projects that serve its members since the social responsibility is a national duty on one hand and an opportunity for leadership and creativity on the other. 
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh received an honorary shield. 

The Australian College of Kuwait offers experiential education and training which are recognized internationally in the field of business administration, engineering, aviation and marine. It was licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education in 2003 and started its operations in October 2004.
