List of Highly Cited Researchers in Jordan Announced

AMMAN - The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) released the list of highly cited researchers for 2018, January edition.
 
According to the University, the ranking is based on the total number of incoming citations of scientific research papers produced by the scientists according to Google Scholar.
 
The classification considered all Jordanian researchers who belong to a Jordanian university with at least one thousand citations. The scholars were primarily listed according to their h-index and then the total number of citations.
 
The results showed that there are 159 Jordanian researchers with at least a thousand citations, 62 of which are from UJ (38.9%), 50 from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (31.4%), and 13 from the Hashemite University (8.1%).
