QU, JBJJCSC Sign A Memorandum of Understanding

DOHA - A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Qatar University (QU) and Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College (JBJJCSC) to establish collaboration in the field of research and strategic studies.
According to Qatar University, the MoU was signed by QU President Dr. Hassan Al Derham and JBJJCSC Major General Staff Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al-Naimi in the presence of officials from both institutions.

The terms of the MoU include collaboration between QU and JBJJCSC on education and theoretical training, and the exchange of professional expertise, experts and researchers. Both institutions will also cooperate to support and encourage joint research for faculty in areas that are of their interest and to strengthen relations between their research teams.

Other areas of collaboration include the organization of joint academic and strategic conferences, seminars and workshops.

Commenting on the MoU, Al Derham said: “We are pleased to partner with Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College in the spirit of promoting research and strategic studies. Qatar University and Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College are both academic institutions. As Qatar’s first national university, Qatar University provides various academic programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College provides high-quality military education. This partnership will contribute to strengthening links between both institutions and to exploring new collaboration opportunities in various areas.”

Major General Staff Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al-Naimi said: “This MoU will contribute to promoting relations between Qatar University and Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College in the field of research. It will also serve to enhancing JBJJCSC programs, particularly in the field of international and leadership relations and strategic management. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship with Qatar University and to identify opportunities for future collaboration.”
