The Establishment of Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Center at Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital for Children

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org) and the Jordanian Royal Medical Services (RMS) signed, at King Hussein Medical Center, an agreement to establish a knowledge center at Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital for Children under the patronage of HRH Princess Sana’a Asem.  

Marking the 8th Anniversary of the Hospital’s establishment, RMS Director Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh and HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh signed the agreement which aims at improving methods and techniques of medical education to meet ongoing advancement in this field.

During the signing ceremony, Habashneh said: "we are celebrating the launch of the first knowledge center to be established in a medical institution in the Kingdom in cooperation with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization which will be provided with outstanding human cadres to offer training programs including English language, scientific research, management among others."

He affirmed that education and training are key and important components for any institution and is the reason for which the Royal Medical Services exerts much effort in providing its staff with carefully-designed training programs as well as delegating them to medical centers and offering participation in international specialized conferences.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh highlighted the role of the Royal Medical Services which he considers to be the cornerstone of the Jordanian medical sector, noting that 100 knowledge centers will be established in Jordanian cities and villages which will be electronically connected with research centers throughout the Arab world.

Meanwhile, Director General of the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital for Children Brigadier General Dr. Adel Wahadneh said that developing methods in medical education for any institution is an ongoing process with the aim of generating well-qualified and trained human cadres with advanced medical skills for the benefit of the society.
