Abu-Ghazaleh Lays the Foundation Stone for Emaar Moab’s New Premises, Establishes New Branch for TAG-Academy

MOAB, Al Karak - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh laid the foundation stone for the new premises of Emaar Moab Foundation in Al Karak Governorate, in the presence of Chairman of the Foundation HE Mr. Hussein Al Tarawneh, members of the Board, members of Al Karak Governorate Council as well as a host of dignitaries.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh stressed that the development of Moab and other areas throughout the Kingdom are the collective responsibility of public and private sectors, noting, “We must work together to achieve the vision of HM King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein in developing all areas and districts in Jordan.”

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, member of the Higher Steering Committee of Emaar Moab Foundation, expressed his pride at being selected to lay the foundation stone for the Moab Foundation premises, highlighting the importance of this project and its role in boosting the region's economy by attracting international partners and institutions.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh announced the establishment of a new branch of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy at the Foundation’s new building currently under construction, which aims at offering youth training programs in the Moab District in particular and in Al Karak governorate, providing qualifications for entering and competing in the labor market through the Academy’s 300 training programs.

For his part, Tarawneh stressed that the Foundation seeks to make significant improvements in the quality and level of developmental and social services for the benefit of the community in the Southern Mazar District through one of the most prominent Jordanian national figures and supporter of Emaar Moab Foundation HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, member of the Steering Committee who is contributing in drawing the road map for the Foundation.

He highlighted the role of TAG-Org in empowering local communities in Karak and other governorates through providing training, educational plans and social initiatives that aim to serve the societies in the Kingdom and enhance their scientific and practical capabilities.

He pointed out that Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh is a national, Arab, and a global personality who plays a big role in serving the cultural and economic movement citing the various chairmanships and positions he carried during his career stating that he is a role model to each and every person who is seeking a better future.

 He added that the construction of the new building of Emaar Moab Foundation started last year, thanks to a generous royal grant, at an area that extends to around ten dunums, and constitutes four floors (9000 square meters) accommodating offices of various government service entities, training halls and exhibitions in addition to a conference room and other facilities.

It’s worth mentioning that the new project aims to provide its services to the local community in the Southern Mazar District which is known for its high population density of over 120 thousand inhabitants.
