Repton School Dubai to Provide Opportunity for Outstanding Cricket Coaching in Partnership with Front Foot Sports

DUBAI - Repton School Dubai’s focus on developing an extensive extra-curricular sporting program has taken a significant step forward through its partnership with Front Foot Sports to provide a high level of cricket coaching to budding cricketers. Repton School Dubai will utilize its comprehensive cricket facilities with indoor and outdoor cricket nets and impressive floodlit cricket ground, to host a cricket academy powered by Front Foot Sports.  It will be open to boys and girls from across UAE schools with a formal launch in April 2018.

Front Foot Sports is supported by prominent personalities who have been involved with the UAE cricketing scene. Chirag Suri, UAE national team player and a former Reptonian, will be actively involved with coaching responsibilities at the academy, as will Khurram Khan, a former UAE cricket team captain.

One of Repton’s core sports is cricket and we felt this was a great opportunity to enhance our involvement through this partnership with Front Foot Sports. Having Chirag, a Repton alumni and talented UAE cricketer, associated with this cricket academy is a wonderful development and great opportunity for youngsters to benefit from his advice and talent.”

According to Chirag Suri, “I am thrilled to be returning to my old school. It was Repton’s sports program that inspired me and gave me the opportunity to pursue my career in cricket. It is only fitting that I would be associated with the first cricket academy at the place where it all began.”

We have a clearly defined progressive program, combining state of the art technology, outstanding facilities at Repton School and personalized coaching in addition to an emphasis on a holistic approach in developing well rounded young people.”

Staffed by coaches that are internationally qualified specialists, the classes hosted by Front Foot Sports will cater to children from the age of four. Individuals will be introduced to the rules of the game and there will also be master classes for high potential individuals. The academy will conduct clinics with renowned players, organize international tours and games, leverage technology through bowling machines, video analysis and offer scholarships to high potential individuals.
