AMMAN –  The 'Talal Ibn Adeebah' story is still widely distributed within Arab countries, especially in Palestine. Therefore, the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOHE) approved the adaptation of the book into a film; under the guidance of Palestinian Minister of Higher Education HE Dr. Sabri Saidam who is always keen to highlight inspirational Palestinian stories of excellence and creativity to motivate and inspire the promising Palestinian generation in confronting challenges and achieving successes.

Earlier in the current academic school year, the book was distributed to various MOHE schools and consequently captured the attention of those interested in education, literature and short stories for children.

The film will be produced and aired in different schools, cultural and social centers and to gatherings of students and children in order to demonstrate and teach them how to deal with suffering through the life of an actual role model who, through sheer determination, was able to transform his life from that of a refugee to a person who can help refugees.

During a meeting recently held between HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and a delegation from MOHE headed by Undersecretary of the Palestinian Ministry of Education Basri Saleh, the aforementioned confirmed the interest by cultural centers to hold discussions under the auspices of the Palestinian Education and Culture ministries on the story and its distinguished events.

He added: "The success of Talal Abu Adeebah's story was due to the common circumstances between Palestinian children and "Talal" a child of their age. It also had a good impact on both children and adults since it promoted quality concepts and noble values reflected in the experience of HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh of patience, wisdom, ambition and positivity."

He also made reference to the fact that the story had been transformed into a school play at Hosni Al-Ashhab School; showing the transformation of suffering into a blessing through the values of happiness, diligence and ambition.
