Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation Holds ‘Design Thinking’ Workshop

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) organized “Design Thinking” workshop under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh. The event was held in cooperation with Dr. Laila Romani of Harvard University and Mr. Chris Rudd of Stanford and Illinois universities.

During the workshop, Dr. Muntaha Bani Hani, Dean of TAGUCI, briefed the attendees on TAGUCI’s vision and mission and what makes it distinctive and different from other educational institutions.

Meanwhile, the workshop team presented a brief about the Design Thinking methodology and the attendees participated in some activities that made it easier for them to understand the methodology’s various phases.

Organizing the workshop comes in line with TAGUCI’s interest in using methodologies that encourage innovation and creativity in all its programs, seeking to create new methods and perceptions in education and at the same time providing training to youth on innovation and creativity in Jordan and the Middle East.

TAGUCI is a University College specialized in business and information technology. It focuses on providing the appropriate environment for creativity and innovation through modern learning methods while granting students the potential to transform their ideas and inventions into marketable products.

It is noteworthy to mention that TAGUCI has recently announced that it started receiving applications for the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019 for MBA program tracks including Innovative Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources Management, Digital Marketing and Data Analytics.
