Repton Students Making Music at Tolerance in Action Concert

Students from Repton Abu Dhabi showed off their musical talents when they participated in the Tolerance in Action concert hosted by Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, held at ADNEC.

ABU DHABI - Nine Repton students were selected to take part, aged from 9 to 12, and played as an ensemble using a range of instruments including keyboard, violin, flute, ukulele, voice and percussion.

The concert featured schools from the UAE performing short works of either music, drama or dance/movement, exploring the themes of tolerance and what it means to students across the world.

Nisreen Jardaneh, Head of Music at Repton Abu Dhabi commented: “Our students were very keen to participate in this great musical event.  Repton has students representing over 73 nationalities and this was a brilliant example of how people from many different countries can come together, make wonderful music and really demonstrate the positive and beneficial aspects and values of tolerance.”
