GJU Students Win the Awards “Arab Student StarPack 2019”

AMMAN - The German Jordanian University (GJU) students at the Department of Design and Visual Communication/ School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) won ALL prizes within the Jordanian universities at the Third Arab StarPack 2019 award Ceremony organized by LibanPack and UNIDO in Beirut according to the official website of GJU.

The students participated in the categories of (Structural packaging, Save the Food) supervised by Architect Rawan Majzoub during the course Packaging Design.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners, Hamza Zabalawi who won the first prize in the category structural packaging design, Alia Al-Bitar: the second prize in the category structural packaging design, and Zain Nabulsi: the first prize in the category Save the Food. 

The competition aim is to enhance the quality of creativity, originality, and design in the fields of packaging design that includes three categories (Visual Packaging, Structural packaging, Save the Food). Out of the 930 packaging design submissions, only 38 winning designs were selected, from 11 Arab countries that included (Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
