“Abu-Ghazaleh” & Ajloun National University Organize Training Workshop for Small Businesses

AJLOUN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), in collaboration with Ajloun National University (ANU), had organized a training workshop for Small Businesses in addition to an exhibit for a number of small projects’ products managed by the local community.

Prof. Mahmoud Al-Rousan, ANU President, in the presence of TAG-KF Executive Director, Mr. Loay Abu Osbeh, inaugurated the workshop and the exhibition at ANU Campus, affirming that the workshop creates an effective learning environment supported by technical means for self-dependent and small projects that managed to prove successful.

He called on the youth to work on such projects to enhance their financial incomes noting that such projects are the solution for absorbing a huge number of job seekers. 

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Rousan underlined TAG-KF’s role in supporting such projects by offering courses and workshops at the University, noting that ANU contributes to organizing such activities that build capacities and promote awareness among the youth to prepare and qualify them on how to establish successful and leading businesses. 

For his part, Mr. Abu Osbeh praised the partnership with the ANU which provides support and facilities, training and capacity building to small projects in line with the University’s social responsibility, pointing to the strong partnership between the University and TAG-KF for the interest of students, graduates and local community.

Moreover, Abu Osbeh underscored TAG-KF full support to the University initiatives, expressing gratitude to ANU President and all other concerned stakeholders for implementing these activities which HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh continuously stresses their importance in spreading awareness among the youth for their significant role in making them seriously concerned about shaping their future. 

Meanwhile, the exhibition of local and traditional products was inaugurated with the participation of 22 associations, small and micro businesses from the governorate of Ajloun, implemented in cooperation with Irada, Enhanced Productivity Centers, which provide facilities, feasibility studies, training and support to small businesses.  

It is worth mentioning that Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum (TAG-KF) is currently working on establishing a knowledge station to be inaugurated at the beginning of the first semester 2019/2020 at Ajloun National University for the provision of educational and professional services for students and local community.
