TAGITI Participates in a Consortium Meeting of BITTCOIN-JO Project in Spain

ALBACETE, Spain- Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information Technology International (TAGITI) took part in a consortium management meeting at Universidad De Castilla - La Mancha (UCLM) under the BITTCOIN-JO project.

TAGITI's participation comes as a part of its role in the implementation of the BITTCOIN-JO project; a project funded by Erasmus+ Program and supported by the European Union.

The BITTCOIN-JO project aims at establishing Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) at higher education institutions in Jordan, and is implemented by Yarmouk University in collaboration with 12 academic and industrial partners from Jordan and Europe. The Offices aim to support university students and academic staff to transform their creative ideas and the results of their scientific research into marketable knowledge and usable products, by creating startups, patent registration, and protecting their Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).

The two-day consortium management meeting discussed the progress of the project that was initiated in February 2019; as well as the quality report provided by the partners, in addition to the proposed Jordanian model of the Technology Transfer Offices. 

Ramez Quneibi, Web, Design and Digital Marketing Department Executive Director at TAGITI; said "We are really happy to be part of such an innovative project; leading the dissemination and exploitation work package as well as managing and maintaining the BITTCOIN-Jo's online presence". 

Quneibi stated that TAGITI has designed and developed a consortium the Portal and website for the project, in addition to launching a Facebook account for BITTCOIN-JO to help spread awareness and promote the project’s mission and activities. 

TAGITI is also responsible for creating the visual identity of the project; where templates for multiple promotional material were created, including but not limited to; handbook, newsletters, rollups, factsheets, and posters to be used during communication and promotional activities by all project partners.
