GJU Ranks among (801-1000) Universities in the World

AMMAN - The German Jordanian University (GJU) announced in a press release that it has been ranked among (801-1000) Universities in the World and the Third among Jordanian Universities in the World Classification (QS) for the third year in a row.
 
The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, pointed out that GJU's achievements locally, regionally and internationally prove the hard work of GJU's academic and administrative staff, it also represents the unique model adopted in the University that focuses on the bi-cultural and cross-border between Germany and Jordan, the applied education which appears clearly in the educational outcomes of GJU's graduates and the increase of the number of scientific research cited.
 
She added that the University is committed to applied education and focuses on international relations, especially with Germany, expressing that this approach is reflected in the results of the QS classification, which aims to introduce universities and their global status to other international universities.
 
Also, the University works on obtaining accreditation from the German Accreditation Council to make it easier for its graduates to work in European markets, particularly German ones, besides increasing employment opportunities in the global and local markets.
 
Fayyad explained that GJU is characterized by the high number of international faculty members, the international students, in addition to the exceptional reputation of its graduates among local, Arab, and international companies.
 
QS Classification is based on six indicators: the academic reputation, the reputation among recruitment companies, the ratio of faculty members per student, citations of the academic members, international academic members, and international students enrolled in the university.
