TAGKS and STEAM Center cooperate on Robotics

AMMAN - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), signed an agreement with STEAM Center to cooperate in holding specialized training courses in the field of creativity and innovation. 

According to the terms of the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in holding courses in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Internet of Things, Programming, and Life Skills fields, through the Center at TAG-KS headquarters and the many knowledge stations throughout the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed in the attendance of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh at TAG.Global Headquarters by TAG-KS Manager Mr. Zeid Al Majali and STEAM Center General Manager Mr. Hazim Hamdan. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride in this cooperation that serves the communities, affirming his belief in the importance of creativity and innovation; a belief that led to the establishment of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) which embodies this specific Dr. Abu Ghazaleh’s vision.  

“The University College provides high-quality learning environment for the students to become creative and innovative through modern and advanced learning methods and techniques that enable them to turn their creative ideas and innovations into marketable products,” Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh said.

Meanwhile, Al Majali underlined the importance of the agreement that will serve a large segment of the local community in a manner that builds and improves their professional capacity; makes them capable of competing in the labor market; and keeping them abreast of advancements in the field of technology.

For his part, Mr. Hamdan expressed his pride in cooperation with TAG.Global, stating that STEAM Center was established in 2017 with the aim of contributing to the human and economic development by bridging the gap between quality education and continuous training offered to the youth.

He added that the Center, in Jordan and the Arab countries, offers specialized training to teach the basics of Robotics and AI Sciences to empower the trainees and improve their skills and knowledge in their field of expertise.
