‘Abu-Ghazaleh’ Concludes Programming Training Course for Girls in Jerash

JERASH - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Society (TAG-KS), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), concluded a programming training course for girls in cooperation with the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) and Code Circle, an educational company that empowers a new generation through programs that strengthen coding, entrepreneurship, and creative skills in children, at TAG-Knowledge Station, established at the Jordanian Association for Supporting the Children of Gaza Charity in Jerash.

The training course comes within the framework of implementing the initiative of teaching specialized programming in developing Android applications using MIT App Inventor program for girls aged between 14-16 years from public schools and local community in collaboration between TAG-KS and Code Circle. 

The initiative will be implemented in all governorates throughout the Kingdom, where TAG-Knowledge Stations are located; and Jerash governorate (Gaza Camp) was chosen as a launching point for this initiative.

For her part, Ms. Injoud Al Kaabneh, TAG-KS Training Coordinator in Jerash, stated that the initiative that has been carried out in cooperation with the participating institutions aims at serving and developing the skills of  the local community. 

She also added that TAG.Global along with its various member firms, particularly TAG-KS, strives to further joint work with the purpose of developing and sharpening youth skills through professional training and qualification.
