Jordan’s Civil Status and Passport Department Sign Cooperation Agreement with ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’

AMMAN – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) and the Civil Status and Passport Department (CSPD) signed a cooperation agreement for the provision of a range of professional services that TAG.Global offers.

The agreement, signed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman, and Mr. Fahad Al-Amoush, CSPD director-general, falls in line with the objectives of the Department in the development of its services and activities in the information technology field, as well as, in upgrading the various professional and technological services, and human resources cadres. 

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that TAG.Global always seeks to serve the various public institutions through all the professional services it provides, expressing the Organization's pride in providing such services to the CSPD too, noting that the Department plays a significant role in maintaining a comprehensive database of all Jordanian citizens, along with all other important services it renders. 

For his part, Mr. Al-Amoush said that signing this agreement with TAG.Global enhances the CSPD’s efforts in offering distinguished digital services, pointing out that this agreement aims at simplifying its procedures by eliminating bureaucracy saving citizens’ time and effort. 

Additionally, Al-Amoush stated that implementing the agreement comes in accordance with the royal directives that always underline the importance of making simplifying citizens’ procedures; praising the initiative of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, as it comes within the framework of implementing e-government. 

The articles of the agreement stipulate the development of a Process Management System (PMS), providing guidance and instructions related to patents and their registration, providing ISO consultation, identifying the training needs of the CSPD cadres, and translating the Department’s website into English. 

The agreement also underlines the need to establish a joint task force frm the two parties to study and discuss cooperation for the purpose of implementing a number of activities and services such as designing a user’s guide, law and procedures manual, posters, in addition to designing  the Department’s annual report.
