AMMAN – The US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) decided to grant  Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) Membership Status, based on its conformity with the highest quality standards in education, research, policies and practices, as well as the achievements of its students and the academic faculty members and administrative cadres.

Accordingly, TAGUCI would proceed with the practical stages of this global accreditation, which represents the highest reference that grants accreditation to business schools in the world. With this TAGUCI joins the two percent of the world’s universities outside the United States that received this accreditation.

AACSB Board’s assessment is based on several factors, most notably commitment to international character, applicability of the programs and  their relevance to the economy, college objectives, admission criteria, content, the concept of the study program structure, the academic environment and quality assurance.

TAGUCI Dean, Dr. Naser Al-Nsor, stated that the AACSB’s accreditation membership is a testament to the quality academic achievement TAGUCI has obtained during a short period since its establishment, affirming that AACSB’s accreditation is considered one of the most rigorous international accreditations during which business schools undergo review process for five years before obtaining full accreditation.

He pointed out that TAGUCI’s prestigious accreditation by the AACSB would effectively contribute to promoting and developing postgraduate programs, as well as increasing employment opportunities for TAGUCI’s graduates in the Kingdom and abroad. That is in addition to the accreditation of the University College’s programs by several academic institutions worldwide.

The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the oldest global for the accreditation of business schools that offer Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, in addition to PhD in business administration and accounting. The accreditation is considered a mark of excellence at the highest standards in business programs, which only 5% of the world’s business schools have received.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), is an independent educational institution accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, that is specialized in applied business and information technology.
