AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), inaugurated the first training program of its kind in the Arab region entitled “Junior Digital Teacher” offered for the youth by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Digital University through its digital platform.

The program is designed to digitally empower students, build their capacities in the information technology field and promote digital culture among the emerging Arab generations, in addition to improving the skills of talented youngsters aged between 7-16 years old in the field of innovation.

Dr. Mushira Enezat, executive director of the International Educational Programs at TAG.Global, stated that HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh pays special attention to this age group for their prospective role in creating a future based on creativity. She added that the Junior Digital Teacher program would aim to instill in children the noble goals of future professions and their relationship to technology.

Furthermore, Enezat said that the 30-hour program was designed by Ms. Asmaa Abdulaziz, which concludes with a graduation project presented by students to be awarded a certificate from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy for Capacity Building (TAG-Academy).

It is worth mentioning that the program aims at creating a conscious, researcher, as well as an innovative generation by integrating modern digital tools into classrooms, in which students will be guided to become assistants to their teachers in the face-to-face education, and at the same time, empowering them digitally in distance learning. Consequently, the (7-16) years old youngsters were integrated into groups to benefit from their thinking abilities based on the so-called “Peer Culture” which depends on sharing information between students of the same age under the guidance of the supervising trainer.

Dr. Enezat pointed out that the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Digital Platform for Youth was established in line with the directives of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh to create a platform that helps students become more proactive and creative under the motto “God Created us to be Creative”.

She added that the Junior Digital Teacher program is one of a series of programs that will be launched in the coming weeks in cooperation with a group of schools that are willing to adopt digital innovation programs offered by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International Digital University.
