Jordan's National Cyber Security Center and ‘Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ Sign MoU

AMMAN – Jordan's National Cyber Security Center (NCSC-JO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) that aims at boosting cooperation between the two parties, as well as exchanging practical and academic knowledge and expertise, in order to achieve their shared interests in the cybersecurity field. 

The MoU was signed by Eng. Bassam Maharmeh, president of NCSC-JO, and HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.Global founder and chairman. 

The Memorandum lays the foundation for achieving several goals, including, strengthening cooperation between the Center and TAG.Global through implementing training programs, issuing joint certificates accredited by the NCSC-JO and Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Academy (TAG-Academy), providing consulting services in the cyber security industry, and bolstering collaboration between the two parties in technical and legal areas. Additionally, it aims at enhancing the utilization of TAG-knowledge stations spread throughout the Kingdom, especially in launching awareness campaigns targeting all segments of society, expanding cooperation in the capacity-building field, holding joint programs, and taking advantage of the two sides’ platforms in promoting cyber security awareness. 

Moreover, the signed MoU primarily aims to draft common standards in the accreditation of cybersecurity programs and trainers, as well as organizing and holding joint conferences.

During the signing ceremony, Eng. Maharmeh said that: “the Center is proud in developing such a partnership with TAG.Global and we believe in the significance of building fruitful partnerships and cooperation between both parties with the aim of achieving our goals for the best interest of our country.” He further stated that the NCSC-JO needs to cooperate with partners in Jordan in cybersecurity governance.

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed TAG.Global’s pride in this strategic partnership attributed to its great importance at local and regional levels due to the extensive experience of both parties in the field of cybersecurity.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also affirmed that TAG.Global strongly believes in the importance of cooperating with the public sector to achieve future goals and aspirations, directing all the Organization’s experts to do their best to realize the goals of the partnership.
